About The Conference Calls
To join a conference call, you must have the call-in number and the conference id number. Both will be sent to you with your confirmation for the class (after you RSVP).
There is no additional charge for conference calls, however you may have normal long-distance charges, depending on your location and phone service.
At the scheduled time of the call, dial the call-in number and follow the prompts to enter the conference id. If you have any difficulty logging in, keep trying, as occasionally the system becomes momentarily overloaded.
Do try to be on time. Each time someone new joins the call, there is a chime heard by everyone (and these can be distracting).
Once on the call, mute your line by pressing *6. This quiets the overall noise on the line and helps everyone to better hear the speaker. To un-mute your line, press *7. |
About The Webinars
Webinars are taught using Paltalk Chat with text, voice, and (occasionally) webcam.
Sign up in advance for Paltalk Chat (the basic program is free). Load it, set it up, and get it all tested (including testing your microphone) well in advance of the class. Be aware that we cannot provide tech support during the class and we will not delay the class to trouble-shoot your system. Get everything setup and tested well in advance.

We recommend having a microphone so that you can ask questions using voice, not just via text. You can also simultaneously call in to the conference call on your phone (when a teleclass is being offered) and just watch the web chat (or skip the web portion completely). When webcam is included, no one else will be sharing their webcam (besides Lady Hypnotist).
